At Methsandi, we provide specialist psychiatry support for adults and adolescents aged 17 and above. We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments, support for mood and anxiety conditions, and management of a range of other psychiatric concerns, with ongoing care tailored to your individual needs.
Many people reach adulthood feeling that something has been ‘out of step’ for a long time. They may have struggled with focus, organisation or time management, or perhaps emotional overwhelm or a restlessness that doesn’t make sense.
At Methsandi, ADHD assessments are led by a specialist psychiatrist and are designed to be thorough, respectful and as clear as possible. We pay particular attention to presentations that are often overlooked or misunderstood, such as ADHD in women and professionals.
Unlike many online services, Methsandi offers continuity of care with the same private psychiatrist, through in‑person consultations and secure telehealth appointments.
If a diagnosis of ADHD is made, we work with you to create an individualised treatment plan to support your work, study and daily life.
Follow-up appointments offer an opportunity to review how things are going, adjust your plan and provide ongoing support that recognises the realities of your day-to-day responsibilities and goals.
At Methsandi, we provide specialist psychiatry support for adults and adolescents aged 17 and above. We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments, support for mood and anxiety conditions, and management of a range of other psychiatric concerns, with ongoing care tailored to your individual needs.
At Methsandi, ADHD is diagnosed through a detailed, psychiatrist-led assessment, rather than a quick questionnaire alone. We will usually:
Where appropriate, we may ask for information from your GP, psychologist or other people who know you well (with your consent) to build a clearer picture.
The focus is on understanding you as a whole person and making a careful, evidence-informed diagnosis.
Throughout the process, we explain each step in every day language, so you can feel informed rather than overwhelmed.

We offer assessment and treatment for mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, with a focus on understanding how these conditions affect you. Care is tailored to your situation and may include close collaboration with your GP and psychologist to support both safety and long-term recovery.

Anxiety can show up as persistent worry, physical tension, panic episodes or a sense of dread that makes every day life difficult. We offer careful assessment of anxiety disorders and related conditions to help you understand what’s happening and why. Treatment is aimed at reducing symptoms and improving your ability to manage daily life.

For people living with OCD, intrusive thoughts and repetitive behavious can be distressing and interfere with daily life. We assess OCD in the context of your wider mental health and life circumstances. We’ll also work with you to develop a treatment approach that is both evidence-based and manageable.

We understand that experiences such as hallucinations, fixed unusual beliefs or disorganised thinking can be frightening and disruptive. We’re here to offer specialist assessment and ongoing care for psychotic disorders, with an emphasis on safety, stability and recovery over time.

Pregnancy and the months after birth can be a time of significant emotional change – and it’s normal and okay if this feels too much. We’re here to support you during this time, such as depression, anxiety or other conditions that arise during pregnancy or the postnatal period. Our approach is gentle, non-judgmental and attentive to the wellbeing of the parent and baby, as well as the practical realities of family life.
